A blank canvas, its all there’s ever been
Lost for inspiration….no words have ever seen…
I place the pen to paper…the fingers to the keys..
Yet no words have sprung to mind, no words are there to see…
The strain on the light bulb…that’s up there in my head….
Not even the slightest flicker. The batteries must be dead…
Stuck again for words….a blockage in my brain…
Writing this bloody poem. Its driving me insane…
I worry about the connection…between my heart and hand…
The pen I put to paper…the words that I demand…
The who, what, where…..why and how…
I want the answers now…
The troubles that I’m facing…its broken up the flow
The way I think about you…the truth I’ll never show..
I didn’t think….it would ever happen to me…
I wish it never did…or was easier to see…
Why I’m down, I guess I’ll never know…
I know I really have to….but I don’t want to let go….
He sprinted in crying..
He could be dying…
A cough and a splutter…
A cringe and a shudder…
Appeared in a dash…
Maybe a rash??
Germs and the sick…
Go get help quick!
Kicking and screaming…
Hopelessly bleeding!
The dangerously ill…
Life almost nil…
A deadly disease!
It was only…..a sneeze
Along the path that tours the world
Take a walk with me, I asked
Through the forests, woods and gardens..
The ones that we’ve just passed…
Cross the line, to the other side

All the poverty stricken, places, plundered….
With the wounded left for dead….
Open your eyes, to view the world

All this suffering is real…
Help with naming them would be greatly appreciated, peace out!
