Well, it was a long and painful day (more for my wife than me), but as of 4PM Eastern Time here in Canuckistan, my second daughter was born.  Her name is Scotia and she was 7 pounds, 3 ounces and 20 inches long at birth.

Everyone is healthy, but extremely tired.

I have time off work to help fit this new person into our lives, but I will still try and post in the SR game as time permits, but right now...I need sleep.  And since the baby is sleeping currently, I should be too.

Congratulations!
I agree though - when baby is sleeping make the most of it, my lil sis can scream for hours (normally around 3) but then sleep for 6 - so we just wait for those 6 hours with longing many evenings!

Dream, there is alot to be said for dreams, even if theres is no chance it will come true. There is comfort in the knowledge you can still dream of it. Nothing great was acomplished without detailed planning, no plan was ever drawn up without a dream of an acomplishment. They did not build the apollo rockets until after man dreamed of reaching out and touching the stars. How? How is irrelevant, as long as there is a why, and the why can be simply "I want to!", the how will be worked out later.

Thanks everyone.  It's been super busy, getting the house ready for baby.  Only recently has the parade of family and friends begun to slow...

Hopefully, I'll be back to my normal level or participation soon.
