I am enjoying this so far, canít wait for an update. It reads well Ė a lot better than anything I have ever written.
Although it never says when Amanda opens her eyes, it was not something I noticed, I found it to be something that is unnecessary - I  just made the assumption that she had opened them.
I find it rather unbelievable how she meets Michelle, though I guess that is the way it works in stories.
I like Amandaís character so far; I can see it working out with Lucasí though that is probably just my current mindset of  'it should all work out in the end'.  She is someone I feel I can understand in many ways.
Please donít wait to long to update, though having said that donít rush things, let them come. You have great potential as a writer.
I will probably give it a second readthrough later, though I think Tau Worlock has picked up on most of the points where it could be improved.

AMERICA here I come,
I will be out of the country - and away from internet - for the next 2-3 weeks.

A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step,
A story of a thousand words starts with a single thought.
