sad, a mood,to be unhappy or upset, if you are in this state for more than 2 weeks some may call you depressed.
to be expressive of sorrow.
"Better by far you should forget and smile, Than that you should remember and be sad" (Christina Rossetti).

As these tears run down my cheeks,
I wonder if this pain will ever end,
As my heart feels this pain,
And I feel torn in two,
Will this pain ever leave,

Will I ever smile with the joy I once did,
will I ever laugh or dance with happiness,
Could I ever forget this pain,
so deep,
I feel it would be easier to give in,

Or, will I live with it as a constant reminder
a reminder of what could have been,
will it strengthen me,
or destroy me,
this pain,
would it be better to forget,
or would I just repeat the lessons,
and feel this pain again?

Next word: joy

Not that it is any joy to write about it.

Avouch
can't find it on wikipedia so am just using my own mind for once,
I suspect it has something to do with vouching for people.
though the word is also not found by the Word thesaurus so I can't be certain
found it,
yup, to confirm something is one of the definitions.

Pirates, robbers of the high sea, well the low sea if they are out of luck, and below the sea if they are really unlucky. Maybe if they got themselves a proper job then there would not be that risk. Then again some pirates where employed by governments to raid the ships of other countries.
I canít think of much more right now, or at least nothing related to pirates and so on. Breakfast might be a good idea about now. Anybody got some cornflakes? And some milk. A spoon and a bowl would be handy too but there not mandatory.

incongruous, not matching or fitting,

it's interesting don't you think:
how hard some people try to fit in,
how some people just don't bother to try.

Necessary now there is a word that trips me up, then again it is probably necessary to practise such words as necessary. Breathing is necessary so at times people seem to forget that, in fact they seem to forget a lot of things, such as what did they do last week, and how much was that pot of yoghurt?  1 or 1.09

precipitation,
you mean rain I take it, as in the stuff that falls from the sky, rather than what the ruler does from their far away throne, or the things that you use to control animals, or toddlers - though i have yet to learn of the difference,
or you could mean to move with haste, to move quickly and with speed rather than to dawdle.
you could mean the other stuff that falls from the sky, like hail - we've had a lot of that recently after all - or snow - that we haven't had for a few months - or even sleet.

Missing, absent, not there. Life in a dead body. Money in my account.
Empty space in space. The second moon. The list goes on.
There are missing people and missing people and for reasons unknown they are not always the same, or sane.

Waiting
The clock goes tick,
The people hurry on,

Waiting
The rain falls down,
The snow whirls around,

Waiting
The sun shines on,
The wind howls by,

Waiting
The world goes on,
Always Waiting but why?

What this thread has gotten. What the **** happened here, you guys? This ain't the place for shitty poetry, all lined up nice and neat in dainty little quatrains (word of the day) to delight thy mind Faustus, this is for RANDOMNESS. See the title? It says it right there. RANDOMNESS. If it said fruit pies you could probably get away with a poem about jaffa cakes (Which are cakes, as they go hard when stale. Or the opposite and are biscuits, I can't remember my QI) But the point is that NO POEMS. No well thought out metaphysical answers that ponder the sanctity of the universe. Ran-dom-ness.

I understand you two are getting bored, being the only ones interested in this thing other than me, and that one of you ain't gots the writing down to a tee and thinks clocks and time going by is all just a way to write a poem (which ain't in quatrains, as they're four lines, see), but come on people, loosen up and shake down that **** bones, because whoropolis is recruiting and you don't want to miss your spot on the promenade.

Seriously.

Hey Seer complete randomness would also include the possibility of something ordered like a poem, and that is what came to mind at the time, and yes we probably have been a overdoing the replies a bit. We are just not as random as you. So we have a Quatrain, a form of poetry, about which I just got tolled of for doing, what is the world coming to where randomness is all ordered and the sky is green. Or was it purple?
Ignoring the colour of the sky lets move on to other things, like that 1 min I have left if I would follow the 5 min rule that was (maybe) laid down at the beginning of this.
Cake anybody?
What nobody has any cake, I will just have to starve until I get home from the l-berry.
Taking of berries whatís your favourite one?

cord used to anchor something (usually an animal) to a pole.
Poor animals, animal abuse?
though I could see how it could be useful, could do that with annoying siblings.
berries, I like most kinds, thought my favourite would have to be strawberries, especially with cream (unhealthy of me I know but only as a rare treat so thats ok).

a kite, a beautiful animal, a master of the skies, the great red kite, one of the grandest british birds of prey, i remember the first time i saw a kite, i was in the mountains of wales, the car had broken down, we had called the AA and we were just waiting, then it was suddenly soaring above our heads, it was magestic, almost surreal. Ok thast wasn't the FIRST time i saw one, i have seen them in captivity, in bird shows and the like, or in averies at zoos and bird rescue centres, but that was my first wild one i saw, the first real one, and i'm still envious of it's freedom.

Dream, there is alot to be said for dreams, even if theres is no chance it will come true. There is comfort in the knowledge you can still dream of it. Nothing great was acomplished without detailed planning, no plan was ever drawn up without a dream of an acomplishment. They did not build the apollo rockets until after man dreamed of reaching out and touching the stars. How? How is irrelevant, as long as there is a why, and the why can be simply "I want to!", the how will be worked out later.

Remember that show, Leave it to Beaver.  I don't.  I remember one episode I saw on Tvland in a hotel room once.  His parents hired some old friend of his dad's to paint the house.  He turned out to be a drunk.  I forget the ending.  I can't remember if the guy goes sober or not.  I think they just fired him.  I got to say, that our society and how lax it is has come a long way.  Or at least, I think so.  I don't remember society before 1996.  I feel young.  It's wierd being so young at times.  Sometimes I feel like I'm too young to do many of the things kids my age do, but at other times, I feel like I'm too old.  That said, I feel old at times, compared to younger kids.  Maybe it has to do with me working with elementary students for a job.

Rhinoceros from the Greek words rhino and keras (sp?). The first one I think means nose and the second one horn, or was it the other way round? My greek is not very good I am afraid to say. Any body know what the plural of Rhinoceros is?
Rhinoceros? Rhinoceri? Rhinoceroses?
Any way the wolly rhino died out at some point, it could not find a barber who would cut its fur when it nolonger needed it after the ice age. So it got to hot and eneded up cooked on the inside.
